Bandung – [19 Agustus 2025] — The Science Education Study Program at FPMIPA UPI opened its doors to a world of discovery with the much-anticipated Open Lab Science Education event. Hundreds of students, teachers, and enthusiasts flocked to the laboratories to experience firsthand the marvels of science learning through innovation, creativity, and hands-on exploration.

During the event, visitors roamed through state-of-the-art labs showcasing interactive experiments and educational materials designed and developed by lecturers, researchers, and students. From physics simulations to biology models and cutting-edge educational tools, there was something for every curious mind eager to connect theory with tangible experience.

What made this Open Lab special was its welcoming atmosphere. Science came alive as participants engaged with real-world applications—conducting simple investigations, troubleshooting scientific puzzles, and chatting with future educators. The event’s vibrancy wasn’t just in the equipment—it was in the gasps of discovery, the laughter as ideas took shape, and the collective “aha!” moments shared across the room.

Organized by the Science Education Study Program, this event wasn’t only about showcasing labs—it was about building bridges. It connected the classroom with the science behind it and fostered collaborations between schools, students, and UPI’s academic community. The hope is that such immersive experiences will ignite enduring enthusiasm for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and inspire the next generation of educators and scientists.
