The Department of Science Education has officially published the results of its latest Tracer Study and Graduate User Satisfaction Survey. This periodic evaluation is conducted to measure curriculum effectiveness, assess alumni competitiveness in the workforce, and ensure continuous quality improvement (CQI).

Based on survey feedback from graduate employers—including primary and secondary schools, educational institutions, government agencies, and science-based creative industries—Science Education graduates received highly positive evaluations across all primary indicators, achieving rapid job placement and 100% career alignment.

1. Graduate User Satisfaction Level

User satisfaction was evaluated across 9 core competency indicators. The results demonstrate a dominant performance in the Very Good and Good categories across all metrics:

Core Strengths: Graduates demonstrated exceptional performance in Critical Thinking (79.31%) and Creativity (75.86%). This confirms that the program’s inquiry-based and problem-based learning approaches effectively prepare students with analytical and innovative mindsets suited for professional environments.

Subject Mastery & Professional Ethics: 71.41% of employers rated graduates’ integrated science expertise as Very Good. Furthermore, graduate ethical standards and workplace professionalism received a 93.11% cumulative positive rating.

Adaptive KSAO Skills: IT Utilization and Foreign Language Proficiency achieved high cumulative satisfaction rates of 96.55% and 89.65% respectively, providing a strong basis for future digital curriculum integration and internationalization initiatives.

2. Graduation Wait Time

The wait time indicator measures how quickly graduates secure employment or transition into professional roles after graduation.

The tracer study recorded an outstanding milestone: 100% of Science Education graduates secured employment in under 6 months post-graduation. This underscores the high demand for the program’s graduates in the current job market.

3. Job Relevance & Career Alignment

Job relevance measures the alignment between alumni career profiles and the Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs) designed by the program (such as Science Educators, Learning Media Developers, or Educational Managers).

The data reveals perfect career alignment, with 100% of working alumni employed directly within the science and education sectors. This confirms that the program’s learning outcomes remain closely aligned with the real-world demands of academic and educational industries.
