It’s official! Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) has entered a new chapter with the inauguration of Prof. Dr. Didi Sukyadi, M.A., as the Rector for the 2025–2030 period. The inauguration ceremony took place on Tuesday, 17 June 2025, at the Achmad Sanusi Building, UPI Bumi Siliwangi, and was attended by academic leaders, lecturers, staff, and guests from across Indonesia.

Prof. Didi, a respected scholar in the field of applied linguistics and former Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs, now steps into the university’s highest leadership role with a strong vision for academic innovation, internationalization, and digital transformation. His experience, commitment to education, and collaborative spirit have inspired great optimism for the future of UPI.

At the Faculty of Mathematics and Science Education (FPMIPA), especially within the Science Education Study Program, we warmly welcome Prof. Didi’s leadership. We look forward to continuing to contribute actively to UPI’s development—strengthening research, fostering innovation in science education, and building partnerships that empower future-ready learners.
