The Alumni Association of the Science Education Study Program (IKA Pendidikan IPA), FPMIPA, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), successfully held its Temu Alumni event on Saturday, April 25, 2026, bringing together graduates from the undergraduate (S1), master’s (S2), and doctoral (S3) programs

The event, held virtually via Zoom Meeting starting at 08:30 WIB, served as a reunion platform and a forum for strengthening the alumni network across all academic levels. The gathering was attended by Prof. Dr. Phil. Ari Widodo, M.Ed, Head of the Integrated Science Education Study Program, and Dr. Nanang Winarno, M.Pd, Coordinator for Student and Alumni Affairs, who joined to show their continued support for the alumni community. Prof. Dr. Phil. Ari Widodo, M.Ed, in his speech, presented a socialization session on the latest updates of the science education study program, covering its vision, mission, and several ongoing and upcoming programs.

A highlight of the event was the election of the new head of IKA (Ikatan Alumni) Pendidikan IPA for the 2026–2030 period. Dr. Yohannes Freadyanus Kasi, M.Pd was elected as the new chairperson, succeeding Dr. Oktian Fajar Nugroho, M.Pd, who led the association from 2022 to 2026. Dr. Oktian was warmly thanked for his dedication and service during his term.

The Science Education Study Program family expressed heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Yohannes on his appointment and extended sincere gratitude to Dr. Oktian for his years of dedicated leadership. The new chairmanship is expected to carry forward the strong alumni network and deepen collaboration between graduates and the program.

The Temu Alumni event reflects the program’s ongoing commitment to maintaining strong ties with its graduates and fostering a community that continues to contribute to science education in Indonesia.
