We proudly extend our heartfelt congratulations to Venus Zauhair Amru from IPSE 2022 for being selected as a participant in the prestigious SEA Teacher Program 2025. Venus will represent Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia at the University of Tsukuba, Japan, from January 26th to February 22nd, 2025. This remarkable opportunity is part of a collaborative initiative by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Secretariat (SEAMEO Secretariat), designed to empower pre-service student teachers across Southeast Asia through meaningful international teaching experiences.
The SEA Teacher Project offers a dynamic platform for future educators to engage in cross-border academic and cultural exchange. Throughout the program, Venus will take part in classroom observation, co-teaching, and independent teaching practices, enabling her to apply real-world pedagogical strategies in a global context. The experience is also tailored to enhance English proficiency, build adaptability, and expose student teachers to diverse educational systems and cultural perspectives. Participants will benefit from mentorship, peer support from local buddies, and structured learning experiences within the host institution.
We believe this experience will significantly enrich Venus’ journey as a future educator and contribute positively to the international outlook of the IPSE program. The entire IPSE community is incredibly proud of her achievement and wishes her great success as she embarks on this exciting academic and cultural adventure in Japan!
