Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) successfully held Open Visit UPI 2025 on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the UPI Gymnasium Building. The event, which ran from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, attracted hundreds of participants, including high school students, teachers, and parents eager to learn more about UPI as a higher education option.

High Enthusiasm at Open Visit UPI 2025

This event aimed to educate the public about higher education and introduce various study programs and facilities at UPI. Additionally, Open Visit served as a platform to socialize the 2025 National Student Admission Selection (SNPMB), including the Achievement-Based National Selection (SNBP), the Test-Based National Selection (SNBT), and UPI’s Independent Selection Pathway.

Since early morning, participants had crowded the venue, showing great enthusiasm for various activities, including interactive talk shows, academic consultations, and faculty and program exhibitions. The presence of lecturers and students as speakers in the talk shows provided firsthand insights into the academic system, career opportunities, and learning experiences at UPI.

Exploring Faculties and Study Programs

One of the main attractions of Open Visit UPI 2025 was the faculty and study program exhibitions, showcasing their academic excellence. The International Program on Science Education (IPSE) Study Program participated by presenting laboratory equipment and student projects, which drew significant attention from attendees. Additionally, field trips to science, technology, and education laboratories provided prospective students with hands-on experiences, allowing them to see the facilities they would use if they joined UPI.

A First Step Towards an Academic Future

Participants expressed that Open Visit UPI 2025 gave them a clearer understanding of university life and the various admission pathways to UPI. Many students felt more confident in choosing their study programs and became even more motivated to pursue higher education.

With the high level of enthusiasm from participants, Open Visit UPI 2025 demonstrated that public interest in higher education is increasing. This event not only introduced UPI as a leading academic institution but also helped prospective students plan their educational futures effectively.
