Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) proudly announces that Dr. Parlindungan Sinaga, lecturer of the Science Education Study Program (IPA), has been selected as a national research partner in the prestigious Indonesian Collaborative Research (RKI) Equity Grant Program 2025–2026, organized by the Association of Research and Community Service Institutions of Indonesian Legal Entity Universities (Asosiasi LPPM PTNBH) in collaboration with LPDP.
The official announcement, released on 6 November 2025, listed successful proposals across 23 PTNBH institutions. One of the funded research projects is titled:
“Development and Validation of VALORIZE: An AI-Based Pedagogical Framework for Shaping the Professional Identity of Engineers in the Digital Era.”
This research is hosted by the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), led by Prof. Armein Z.R. Langi, with Dr. Parlindungan Sinaga (UPI) serving as Research Partner (Mitra 2). The project also includes collaboration with I Gusti Bagus Baskara Nugraha (ITB) and other institutional partners.
The VALORIZE project aims to integrate artificial intelligence, pedagogy, and professional identity formation, supporting the development of future engineers who are adaptive, ethical, and digitally proficient. This aligns with Indonesia’s national strategy to strengthen research excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and technological innovation.
