The Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia – Okayama University Double Degree Program is a program aimed at fourth-year undergraduate students at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. This program allows master’s students to complete postgraduate programs at both universities. Students participating in this program will be enrolled as regular students at both universities. After conducting research and fulfilling graduation requirements from both universities, students enrolled as double degree students can earn degrees from both universities.
One participant in this program is Muhammad Fahriza Amri, a master’s student in the Science Education Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Science Education (FPMIPA). During this program, the student conducted his research related to the topic of creativity amongst Japanese junior high school students while also participating in various volunteer activities held by Okayama University.
Through partnerships such as the one with Okayama University, the program hopes to continue opening pathways for its students to gain global academic experience, strengthen the quality of its graduates, and contribute to the advancement of science education both in Indonesia and abroad. Congratulations to Muhammad Fahriza Amri on completing this inspiring journey. May it be the first of many achievements to come!
